Charles Hanna Speaks on the One-Year Anniversary of NexInnovations Acquisition

October 17th, 2008 marked the one-year anniversary of the successful acquisition of NexInnovations by Brains II, Inc.

As the holidays approach and the year draws to a close, I’d like to take this opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments and to share my vision for the coming year.

Brains II has always strived to help our Customers make the most of their existing IT investments by providing superior service at costs far less than the manufacturer.

When cutbacks are occurring across all industry sectors due to the turbulent economic times we find ourselves in, that value becomes even more important. Our strong revenue position, loyal customer base and solid infrastructure will see Brains II grow over this seemingly unstable period.

The foundation of our company is superior service delivery at a lower cost.

In the past year, Brains II has made significant improvements to all aspects of our business, including Parts, Support and SLA performance. Our strong revenue is an indication of high Customer retention and loyalty, largely due to our proven track record.

Superior customer service is more than just good SLA’s. It is continuous and effective communication with you, the Customer. We have made great strides in this area, by empowering and strengthening the role of the local teams whom you deal with on a day-to-day basis. The advantages of this are better customer service and lower costs.

Major improvements in Logistics have allowed us to lower our overall operating costs while continuing to make significant investments in parts to maintain and strengthen our inventories across the country.

Brains II is profitable and well-managed. Our technical expertise and service-only strategy are helping us to forge great new industry alliances.

Current market trends also present new opportunities that we are well-prepared to take advantage of. There is a slow, underlying shift from hardware to software support, and we are expanding our offerings to reflect this shift. For Customers who cannot justify full-time desk-side support, we offer Desk-Side Support Services at a fraction of the cost, which includes all the benefits of Brains II’s superior technical resources. Our national Depot Service is growing and in high-demand by Vendors. Similarly, we have expanded our offerings to include Placement Services, providing manpower for short-term IT project work to full-time on-site staffing. As a Canada-wide Service organization, we have tremendous access to qualified personnel, vast technical resources and immediate response with 24-hour coverage. Our Managed Print Services is gaining recognition as a packaged offering utilizing our IMAC, Maintenance, Consumables Management and superior reporting services for both our Customers and Partners. 

I am very excited about our potential for 2009. Brains II has the vision, the will and the innovation to grow, by investing in our people, our infrastructure and our Partner networks.
